2. Carry-on Baggage

All passengers are allowed to bring one piece of carry-on baggage through security check for free. Please make sure your carry-on baggage does not exceed the specified size and weight (7kg max.) and does not contain any restricted articles, so as to avoid time delay as a consequence. The limitations of Spring Airlines on carry-on baggage may not be the same as other airlines. Please reconfirm your baggage does not exceed the size shown below:

3. Detailed Product Introduction

i. The allowance of checked baggage can only be expanded once in advance.

ii. Passengers taking Spring Airlines will arrive at the check-in counter at the airport. For extra baggage that exceeds the free baggage of your ticket, the baggage will be regarded as checked baggage. The excess baggage fee will be charged according to the distance and the weight of the excess baggage. , namely: 1~5KG, 6~10KG, 11~15KG,..., corresponding baggage weight grade 5KG, 10KG, 15KG, ..., and so on. According to the nature of the route and the distance, the per-bagloading fee per 5KG is shown in the following table:

iii. We will inspect your carry-on baggage at the check-in counter and boarding gate. When checking in at the check-in counter, if your baggage exceeds the free baggage allowance of your ticket, the extra part shall be considered as checked baggage, and excess baggage fee will be charged. Please arrive at the boarding gate 30-45 minutes in advance, so that we can inspect the number of pieces, weight, and volume of your carry-on baggage. The baggage allowance purchased or contained in your ticket can only be used when checking in at the check-in counter. If your baggage is found not in compliance with the requirements for free carry-on baggage at the boarding gate, you will be charged a baggage fee (must be paid in local currency and cash) for your nonconforming baggage, and all nonconforming baggage shall be placed within the cargo hold (details subject to ground handling). For your convenience, please check your baggage at the check-in counter. The charge list for nonconforming baggage at gate is as follows:

4. Other Information: (applicable to all passengers)

i. The standard carry-on baggage is within 20*30*40cm in size and within 7KG in weight. Baggage exceeding this size or weight will be considered as checked baggage at the check-in counter and be checked in.

ii. The deadline of Spring Airlines for purchase of checked baggage allowance in advance varies depending on the specific flight. Detailed information of deadline is as follows:

iii. For baggage allowance purchased online in advance, overpayment will not be refunded and supplementary payment shall be made for deficiency. The unused baggage allowance purchased online or the remaining part of baggage allowance will not be returned: for use during this flight only; cannot be used repeatedly.

iv. The expense of checked baggage allowance purchased in advance cannot be refunded or changed separately; it can only be refunded or changed along with the ticket of the corresponding flight (no service fee shall be charged for refund or change).

v. Invoice claiming: the checked baggage allowance purchased in advance or the checked baggage fee paid at airport counter is not reflected in the itinerary. For reimbursement of baggage-related fee, passengers who have made purchases in advance can print invoice through the “Electronic Invoice” in “Order Management” on the official website of Spring Airlines, or claim quota invoice at the check-in counter of the airport. Passengers who have paid baggage fees at the airport counter should claim quota invoice at the check-in counter of the airport. (except for terminals where electronic invoice is already implemented)

vi. Rules about articles such as precision instrument and electric appliance: articles such as precision instrument, electric appliance and musical instruments shall be checked as cargo; if passengers insist on transportation as checked baggage, such articles must be packed properly; the weight allowance of such articles can be included in the baggage allowance paid for online, or charged as checked baggage fee at the airport counter.
